Great phone, wish it had 120Hz
Love almost everything about it, but after using a friend's Pro the 60Hz screen is the one thing I notice when scrolling. Camera and battery are excellent and it feels premium. Still a 4 because of that one compromise.

Best mainstream iPhone in years
Coming from an iPhone 12, the jump is huge. The 48MP camera is noticeably sharper, USB-C means I finally use one cable for everything, and the Dynamic Island is more useful than I expected. Battery easily lasts a full day.

QCan I use my old Lightning cables with the iPhone 15?
Not directly. The iPhone 15 uses USB-C, so you'll need USB-C cables or an inexpensive USB-C to Lightning adapter for older accessories.
QHow long will the iPhone 15 get iOS updates?
Apple typically supports iPhones with major iOS updates for around five to six years, so the iPhone 15 should remain current well into the late 2020s.
Frequently asked
Does the iPhone 15 have a high refresh rate display?
No. The iPhone 15 uses a 60Hz OLED panel. ProMotion 120Hz is reserved for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.
Does the iPhone 15 support fast charging?
Yes. It charges at roughly 20-27W over USB-C, reaching about 50% in around 30 minutes, and supports 15W MagSafe and 7.5W Qi wireless charging.
Is the iPhone 15 waterproof?
It is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, meaning it can withstand submersion up to 6 meters for 30 minutes, though water damage is not covered by warranty.
